The Big 21!

We felt honored to be in Utah for Chris's big 21st birthday.  He is such a great guy.  Chris is so thoughtful and kind!  If it weren't for this guy we never would have moved our stuff out of our home in Utah in time.  He worked all weekend night and day!  We are so grateful to have him in our family.  Happy Birthday Chris!

Fishing and Hot Dogs

One of the days on our trip Kyle went fishing.  I stayed with my niece and nephew that I don't get to see often enough.  Surprisingly, Grant wanted to go fishing with his dad.  I thought it was cute.  Grant caught two fish and even touched the fish one time.  (A major accomplishment!)  I also thought it was pretty neat that Grant lasted for about 5 hours!  I can hardly fish for 5 hours without getting bored.

When Kyle's dad would take Kyle fishing they would always stop at the gas station and get a hot dog.  Kyle decided to continue the tradition.

Grant's hot dog is getting a drink.  He thinks he is so funny!

Mr. and Mrs. Fry

In April Kyle's cousin got married.  It was a fun wedding.  The couple was so happy.  The wedding procession was so fun and entertaining, but because we got close seats to see the ceremony all my pictures turned out crappy.  Besides the pictures didn't do the procession justice.

I love this picture because the happy couple can't stop smiling at each other.  I also love how handsome the groomsmen are!  I think they look great in their shades, pink ties, and suits.

They are now man and wife!
Congrats Taylor and Kassie!

Easter Outfits

In April we went down to Utah to be with family.  We got the cousins in their Easter outfits and took pictures.  It is really hard to get all three kids to look at the camera at once.

Evy was a little hesitant to sit down.  She didn't want her princess dress dirty.

Grant loves Preston.  Every time Grant is too big for something he says, "lets save blank and give it to Preston when he gets bigger."

This one is pretty good.  All the kids are smiling, but they are not all looking at the camera.

I love how they all have different faces in this one.

I love this cute boy and his big blue eyes!

It's Official!

We have waited for just over 15 months and it is finally official!  We have sold our house!  It has been the most anxiety causing event in our life EVER!  We worried for 14 months that the house would never even sale.  Then when we finally got an offer we worried that the house wouldn't appraise for as much as the offer.  Once it appraised we still worried that the buyers would back out.  Luckily, everything worked out quite smoothly!  The title company recorded the sale and put the title in the new owners name on Thursday.  We are so thrilled!  I know it has been a few weeks since my last post, but we have had a lot on our minds lately!

Easter Sunday

We had a beautiful Easter Sunday.  Living out of state makes holidays hard at times.  We miss our family traditions and celebrations.
We made the best of the situation and continued with some of our traditions.  I had to make deviled eggs for Easter.  I don't like making deviled eggs.  I nominate a family member to come up next Easter and make them for us.

Deliver Us From Evil

Deliver Us From Evil (Shaw, #2)Deliver Us From Evil by David Baldacci
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I love Baldacci! He is my favorite author of all time, but this book was lame.  I just didn't get into it.  It wasn't that the story was bad, I just didn't like it.  I think Baldacci can do better than this.  I felt like this novel was just pushed and not very deep.  Normally, his books have a few twists and turns.  This book has just one small twist at the end.  I was a little disappointed.
