After Church
Last Sunday Grant came home from church and plopped right down in his chair. He apparently gets just as worn out at church as we do. I love having a 2 year old. His personality cracks me up.
Second Easter Egg Hunt
On Sunday we hunted for eggs again. Grant wanted to find all the yellow eggs. Grant's new favorite color. Everything is yellow or brown. He got obsessed with yellow and brown because of Tex (from Cars). Grant has a a color changing Tex car that turns yellow in hot water and brown in cold water. Now everything is yellow and brown.
First of the Egg Hunts
We celebrated Easter with Kyle's family on Saturday. It was a little cold so we had to hunt for eggs inside. Grant has the whole egg hunt concept down. Grandma Cindy put some change in a few of the eggs. When he found the eggs with candy he would just throw them in his basket, but when they had money in them... WOW! Grant liked the "money" and would open the egg to put the change straight in his pocket.
Grant's Surgery
He really had no idea what was going on. Grant didn't like the hospital gown. The nurse tried to get him to see what was on the gown, but nobody knows who the Tiny Toons are any more.
I was really impressed with how well the i.v. went. There was no bruising! I was really happy about that.
The worst part of recovery was having the little clip on his toe. It was awful!
Isn't he so precious!
This is just 2 days after surgery. I think it looks really good. I little bruising, but healing nicely!
Happy Easter
This is my handsome young man! I love his happy face! He is so much like his dad. Anyone recognize why?

Our Own March Madness
This month has been filled with crazy madness. I have actually tried to spend a little more time with my family and so the blogging has been put on the back burner for a while. Grant had a burst eardrum earlier this month. It never really went away and so we are on our second round of antibiotics. Next Monday he is having a little surgery on his belly button. Kyle has a big comprehensive exit exam on Monday as well. He has done nothing but study for that all week. I have tried to enjoy some of the nice weather we have had lately. It is crazy how fast time flies. I will get some pictures up soon. I promise.

February Come Back!!!
It is the last day of February and I haven't made one single post all month! Where on earth did February go? It doesn't seem like we did much the last 28 days, but we have.
Kyle is still plowing threw school. He has 8 more weeks left. It was about 2 weeks ago that Grant and I left the house and Kyle watched 24 hours worth of lectures. He has to download all of these lectures so the internet is often bogged down.
A few weeks ago we finally replaced our t.v. Remember the day a Wii remote flew into the t.v. and broke it. Well, that t.v. now sits in our garage until we get a chance to dispose of it. We have a new t.v. on the wall and I think it has only played Disney Pixar movies.
Grant turned 2 this last week. I will get pictures up soon. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe he is 2 already. Evy also turned 2. It has been birthday central all week.
I started a new hobby. I recently decided I need another hobby so I bought some yarn watched a "how to crochet video" on You Tube. I have made 2 hats and many random bundles of yarn. I am still learning, but I am having a lot of fun doing it.
I have been able to watch some of the Olympics. What amazing athletes they are! All of them are so talented.
Kyle introduced me to a new t.v. series "The Big Bang Theory" and I am obsessed. Kyle introduced me to "The Office" a few years ago. I love that show too. I really like Big Bang because...well... Sheldon really makes the show. I will warn you that I have an opinion about whether or not the characters, particularly Sheldon, have Autism. If you want to hear it let me know.
There you go a month in a nutshell. I hope March finds us a little less crazy, with more pictures, more posts, and more yarn!
