Grant got a blue sucker at a store. Not only was the sucker yummy, but it was super cool because it turned his tongue blue!

Money To Burn
Money to Burn by James GrippandoMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
The idea of identity theft seems to be a topic on a lot of authors' minds. Probably because it is becoming a more common daily occurrence. I liked the characters of this book. James Grippando did an excellent job keeping the ending from the reader. I loved how everyone felt like a villain except for the real villains. I was floored at the end. I would highly recommend this book. I don't remember any swearing or sex.

Halloween Update
So Grant still wants to be Emperor Zurg for Halloween, but mom can't afford it. The costumes are going for about $80 on ebay. It is just not worth it to me. I am going to borrow a friend's Buzz costume. Grant has yet to touch the thing! He doesn't want to have anything to do with it. I don't think it has anything to do with the fact it is not Zurg I just think it is the fact that my child doesn't ever want to change clothes. He would be perfectly content to stay in the same outfit for a week at a time. Silly boy!

This is one of my favorite Baldacci books. I know I have said it before, but Baldacci has to be my all time favorite author.

4 Wheeler
It is obvious that these pictures are late because we now have snow on the ground. I hate it when it snows before Halloween. Grant has a neighbor boy named Easton who has a 4 wheeler like this. They would fight over it all the time. It wasn't that expensive so we went and got Grant one. I should have known it wasn't going to solve anything. Now they fight over who gets the shiny new stickers.
Easton actually rides his around. Grant on the other hand has more fun climbing on and off of the 4 wheeler. Silly boy!

A Short Testimony continued
I am really trying to finish the Book of Mormon by the end of the year. I don't know if I will make, but I am trying. I am almost done with Alma, which is a major accomplishment for me! I actually enjoyed all of the wars. I think it most curious to read about how fast people can fall in and out of the gospel. I am amazed with the faith of Moroni and Teancum. I have loved reading it. I have learned so much. The sad thing is I have already forgotten some of the stories. I will have to read it again. I have gained a real testimony this time of how true the Book of Mormon is. It has been a wonderful experience!

Halloween is Coming!
We have already started talking about Halloween at our house. Grant is insisting on being Emperor Zurg from Toy Story 2. There is no convincing him otherwise. It is darling! He wants Dad to be Buzz and Mom gets to be Jessie.
There is no such thing as an Emperor Zurg costume so I think my mom and I, which means mostly my mom, will make a Zurg costume. It will be fun!
