Three Teeth

On May 28th, Celeste cut her first top tooth.  She now has three teeth.  She has been miserable the last two days.  She has four front teeth that are all really close to cutting through.  I hope they hurry.  I hate teething babies.  They are so miserable.   I tried to get a picture of all those teeth, but all I got were silly faces and smiles.  I love her pretty eyes.

Peek-A-Boo

Celeste has loved peek-a-boo for a long time, but on May 20th she figured out how to play herself.  She was so proud of herself.

"where's Celeste?  where is she?"

"peek-a-boo"

"Yeah! Celeste"

The Hit

The Hit
By: David Baldacci

Oh, how I love Baldacci! I didn't realize this was the second Will Robie series until I was already more than half way through. It didn't ruin the story. Still loved it! I think Baldacci is such an amazing author.

I loved Robie and his determination. I also loved the small love triangle between Robie and Vance.

I usually love Orla Cassidy as a female reader, but this time I didn't like the way she did Julie. It was too whiny for me. It is the only reason I am giving this book four stars. I am going to go back and read the The Innocent instead of listening to it, just so I don't get too much whiny voice.

No sex and no swearing. (maybe one or two words, but no more than that) Highly recommend this book!

Miss Celeste

Celeste is the funniest little girl.  She loves attention and loves the camera.  She has started liking her own spoon to hold during meals.  She is so proud of herself when she can get food in her mouth.  Just look at this grin.  Doesn't it just light up your day?  I love how she poses too.  She tilts her head back and to the side.

Art Wall May 2014

Top Row: the letter E paper, the letter Y paper, an emotion icon drawing, tangram math paper
Middle Row: Bunny puzzle, a kleido scope butterfly (my favorite picture and I am having it framed), Easter egg painting, a fluffy sheep; a hawk puzzle
Bottom Row: a painted igloo house; a math paper; shamrock painting; pine trees water color; shamrock

I had my camera out and so the kids posed for a whole bunch of pictures.  Grant thought it was hilarious that he was going upside down head first down a slide.

May the Fourth Be With You

On May 4th we had a Star Wars party.  Grant is SO into Star Wars.  He loves the shows and has number of Lego sets.  He also loves to play with his toy light sabers.  Since I listen to him humming Star Wars music all day long I thought I would throw him a Star Wars party.

I got these little signs off of website and had Grant cut them out.  He thought it was so cool!

In addition to these yummy treats we had pretzels dipped in green colored chocolate and called them light sabers.  We also had "Hans" burgers.  Grant thought it was so much fun to have a Star Wars party.  I am glad I can be a cool mom and foster his love for Star Wars.

My Sweet Kids

Irene doesn't get to see the kids very often and she had a great time playing with Celeste.  Kyle said Celeste was a little wary of Irene at first, but she warmed up and thoroughly enjoyed herself.  I love these pictures of the two of them.

Kyle went to check on Grant one of the nights I was gone and this is how he found Grant.  Grant had fallen asleep reading his Book of Mormon.  If that isn't precious!
