Just Married Truck

Grant helped the brothers decorate Chris' truck.  He felt like such a big boy.  He put polka dots all over the back of the truck.  He had so much fun helping the big boys paint the truck.  Kyle and Lee were nice and didn't do anything mean, just wrote funny things on the truck like "game over."
Chris and Karlee thought it was funny to ride around in the truck.

Chris and Karlee's Wedding

I totally slacked at the wedding and didn't get any pictures of the Bride and Groom!  I was so busy being a maid of honor and taking care of my cute kids I just forgot.  I am not the best photographer and I didn't like how my pictures were turning out anyway.  These are the best two.
Grant loved being dressed up all fancy with Kyle, Lee, Scott, and Tyler.  He felt so big!
He pulled Celeste down the aisle in a decorated wagon.  He did a fantastic job!  I was so proud of my children.  They looked so cute.
During the reception we saw a lot of distant relatives many who have never met Celeste.  It was fun to show her off!  She really is a cute baby.  I had a lot of fun visiting with family and friends.
I love weddings because there is such an exciting feeling there.  I really love my new sister-in-law Karlee and so excited to have her in the family!

Prettiest Princess

We went to Utah again in the middle of July for Chris and Karlee's wedding.  It was a beautiful wedding and we had so much fun hanging out with family.  On the day of the wedding Celeste was the flower girl.  She had a beautiful dress and looked so beautiful.  She is getting quite a bit of hair and I had fun doing it.  I loved this picture of her getting ready.  Cindy is in the background and I love it!
More pictures of the wedding coming up!

Preston's Third Birthday

We celebrated Preston's birthday a few days early so Grand, Celeste and I could celebrate!  Preston is three! Where has the time gone?

I swear this was just yesterday!
Now look at this big boy!

We had a big picnic with hot dogs and hamburgers with all the yummy fixings!  We had so much fun watching Preston open his presents.  He was so excited about everything.  Preston tried to act a little shy because he knew he was the center of attention.  I loved it!

My sister makes the most amazing cakes!  I am lucky if I get frosting on my cakes.  She on the other hand makes works of art!  Look at this awesome triceratops! Isn't it incredible?

Happy Birthday cute boy! Auntie loves you!

Monkeys

I can count on one hand the number of times  I have climbed a tree.  I am not afraid of heights, just didn't climb trees.  I was excited to see Grant and Evy climbing this tree.  They were having fun being monkeys in the tree.

Preston enjoyed playing the hose.  He is such a sweet boy.  I feel bad I don't get to see him more often.  I really love my niece and nephew.

Dinosaur Park

While we were in Utah we made trip to the Dinosaur Park.  We had a great time!
Grant liked the animated dino display.  He was bummed part of it wasn't working.

We enjoyed riding the dinosaurs at the park.  Trying to get all the kids looking at the camera can be a real joke.  Celeste thought we were playing peek-a-boo.

So she kept hiding...

This is the best we got!  Not too bad if you ask me!

Evy really liked the long necked dinosaur.

The older kids had a little guide book they filled out and then they got a dinosaur video.  It is a really lame video.  Pretty much a big advertisement for the Dino Park.  Lame!

When I was in high school I used to work at the Dinosaur Park.  I worked in the cafe.  I have some fun memories working with my friends at the park.  The cafe was closed, but I had to take a picture of the little bottles in the window.  We sold those pink and purple dino bottles back more than 15 years ago!  The same ones!  I hated them.  It was so hard to get the soda in the tiny hole at the top.  I couldn't help but laugh that they are still selling them!

Crawling Baby

Celeste has been crawling for months now.  She often crawls with things in her hands.  I think it is funny when she holds a bouncy ball in one hand because it makes one arm longer than the other.  It is funny to watch her crawl.
On this particular evening she was crawling around with big knobby puzzle pieces in each hand.  When she would crawl on the wood floor it would make a clapping sound.  She thought it was hilarious!  I wish I could have grabbed the video camera, but at least I got a picture.
