I loved this book as much or more than the first one.  Simeon is such a strong character.  I love his boldness!  It gets him into trouble sometimes, but that what makes the story so believable.  Miriam is also one of my favorite characters.  <br><br>In my opinion this book has less "doctrine" and more cultural references.  I love it all the same.  Such an amazing story.  Last night I finished this book.  It was late, but I nearly jumped on amazon and had the third book sent to my kindle so I didn't have to stop reading.  <br><br>Highly recommend these books.
