This is Grant's new trick! Obviously mom is taking too long to come and get her baby. He has had to find things to entertain himself while he waits. Of course after a while he does get fussy! I couldn't help laugh when I saw him this morning. Since this day he has succeeded in pulling the blue cover off his wedge and throwing that around as well. I guess I need to be faster about getting my baby in the morning!

Thoughts for moms
Here are some more things you don't appreciate or are not aware of until you are a mom!
1. The color of the food going in will be the same color coming out! (Purple is not a pretty color of poop!)
2. Small compact cars are great for gas mileage but not great for carseats!
3. The small little hangers above the back door (that no one uses) are great for ruining a great hair day!
4. There is no such thing as a small diaper bag and if there is it isn't functional. The bigger the better!
5. You can never pack enough extra outfits!
6. Huggies is the only brand of diaper that is worth your dollar! (See number one and think Pampers!)
7. Moving the hoses across the lawn is sometimes the only alone time you get for a week! I don't know what I will do when we get a sprinkler system. (Drag hoses anyway! Ha ha)
8. Invest in Babies 'r us stock now! I think we spend more money there then the grocery store and Wal Mart combined!
9. Spending an evening with a bunch of old ladies and discussing how we are blessed as women actually sounds somewhat appealing. (Only if dad is willing to babysit.)
10. There is nothing more statisfing then seeing your baby smile back at you when you make dopey noises!

Four Months Old
Wow! Time goes by way to fast. I can't believe my baby is already four months old. He has changed so much! Grant has been so happy and playful lately. Every time we get out the camera he always seems to stop being so cute. Luckily, this time we got some cute ones! These pictures make my day! We should all be this happy!

Wake Up Sleepy Head!
This morning I went to get my pumpkin out of bed. He was starting to get a little fussy and when I found him I knew why. The boy had grabbed his little wedge he sleeps on and kept pulling it over his head. He hasn't got the coordination down to figure out that he needed to let go of the wedge. It was hilarious! He didn't think it was as funny as I did!

ipod baby
In the mornings I try and get in the shower before Grant wakes up. It doesn't always happen as hard as I try. Yesterday morning he was kind of fussy and so I let him listen to my ipod. When I checked on him a few minutes later he had my ipod cords all wrapped around his hands and listening to Daughtry. Grant was obviously meant to come in such a technologically advanced generation.
Twins...I don't think so!
Last week I had the pleasure of watching Grant and Evelyn. We had a lot of fun until both babies wanted something to eat! (It was at the same time of course.) We had a milk guzzling contest, which was really cute, but unfortunately I am not related to the octupuses and so I couldn't get a picture. I pray every day I am never blessed with twins.

Tender Moment
Holly cow! I haven't posted forever. We have been super busy. With me back to work and Kyle working on his Master's we are just busy. When we do have a spare moment we are working on our yard. Now that summer is here we rarely are in doors.
This weekend we went to Scott and Brooke's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding. They are so in love! We are so happy for them. At the wedding we snapped a few cute pictures of the fam damily! The most special part of the day was at the recetion they had the groom dance with his mother and then invited all mom's to come and dance with their sons. I could hardly hold back the tears. I love my baby so much. It is crazy how fast time flies. I know that I will blink my eyes and before I know it I will be dancing with Grant on his wedding day. It was a very tender moment!
