I am a binki boy!

I am in love with binkies (so is Grant)! I feel terribly sorry for any parent who has a child who won't take a binki! At first it was a two edged sword. Grant wanted it in his mouth but couldn't keep it there. I spent quite a few nights laying by him with my finger glued to the dumb thing. Now he can put it in his own mouth all by himself. Well, sort of!

Family Photo

I love this photo! We are all smiling! A miracle. Unfortanetly we haven't got very many family shots taken. I made the big mistake of not taking any family pictures at the hospital after Grant was born. I really wish I would've remember, but I can't remember everything. Plus, it wasn't like his birth wasn't stressful or anything!

I am the Error!

I have announced that I have had problems with blogger and getting my pictures posted. Well, the problem is really both of us. Blogger takes too long to upload pictures. AND... I realized that with my new awesome camera the format is different and so the file size is huge and blogger can't upload a large file. Like my brother always says, "techinical errors are usually user errors!" Too true!

100% Boy

Any one who has a boy will understand the fact that boys can NOT stay away from a hose. Here is proof at a very young age. It must be that 'y' chromo thing!

Finally!

I have had the worse luck with blogger lately. I haven't been able to post pictures. I don't know if my pictures are too big, if the internet is too slow, if I am incompotent or what! ANYWAY! I have started doing digitial scrapbooking! I love it! It is so much faster then the cut and tape way. Here are some of my pages I did just recently. I hope that I will continue to be able to post pictures! Thank you for your patience and keep checking back.

P.S. Do you like your page I made you?

Wake Up Sleepy Head

This is Grant's new trick! Obviously mom is taking too long to come and get her baby. He has had to find things to entertain himself while he waits. Of course after a while he does get fussy! I couldn't help laugh when I saw him this morning. Since this day he has succeeded in pulling the blue cover off his wedge and throwing that around as well. I guess I need to be faster about getting my baby in the morning!

Thoughts for moms

Here are some more things you don't appreciate or are not aware of until you are a mom!

1. The color of the food going in will be the same color coming out! (Purple is not a pretty color of poop!)

2. Small compact cars are great for gas mileage but not great for carseats!

3. The small little hangers above the back door (that no one uses) are great for ruining a great hair day!

4. There is no such thing as a small diaper bag and if there is it isn't functional. The bigger the better!

5. You can never pack enough extra outfits!

6. Huggies is the only brand of diaper that is worth your dollar! (See number one and think Pampers!)

7. Moving the hoses across the lawn is sometimes the only alone time you get for a week! I don't know what I will do when we get a sprinkler system. (Drag hoses anyway! Ha ha)

8. Invest in Babies 'r us stock now! I think we spend more money there then the grocery store and Wal Mart combined!

9. Spending an evening with a bunch of old ladies and discussing how we are blessed as women actually sounds somewhat appealing. (Only if dad is willing to babysit.)

10. There is nothing more statisfing then seeing your baby smile back at you when you make dopey noises!
