Go Padres!

We didn't plan on going to a Padres baseball game, but we walked by the ticket office and they had tickets for that nights game and so we went. We had so much fun! Kyle got front row seats right in front of first base. So Grant got a lot of attention. One of the ushers gave him a toy "SD" ball. Another usher gave him a bag with a beanie, picture frame, a "my first visit to Petco Park" pin, team schedule and a cool calendar. A third usher brought him a real game ball during the game. And if that isn't enough a camera man walked by and thought Grant was cute. He shot a quick clip of Grant sitting on my lap and told us he would be on t.v. after the current inning.
The game went into over time and at the bottom of the 10th inning a lady above us had chest pain and so the medical crew had so carry her out on a stretcher/back board. The group of guys in the section over from us had a little too much to drink. The alcohol loosened their tongues and so they got escorted out of the park for profane language.
The game finally came to an end at the 16th inning when the Padres hit a home run. The game started at 7:05 and I think we got home around 1 AM.
Grant was so good. He had such a great time. I kicked myself for not bringing my camera into the park. It was a blast!
