Fast forward: My mom is a school teacher and has summers off. My mom wanted to come up this summer but because my sister had a baby, my brother had surgery, and life in general my mom wasn't able to come and visit us until UEA! We didn't tell Grant his Granny and cousin Evy were coming for the weekend. When they walked in the door on Wednesday night he totally flipped out! He was so excited! The first thing he wanted to do with Granny and Evy was go to the science center!
There is a lot of fun things to do here! Kyle and I have just as much fun as Grant does. There is so much to do and learn! The center is really geared towards older kids, like maybe elementary age, but there are things to do for all ages.

Evy absolutely LOVED the pretend veterinarian clinic. She gave every single animal at least 3 shots. We showed her how to use a stethoscope. She thought it was so much fun! (Grant could've cared less and was busy playing the abacus.)
Until January the center has an entire exhibit on gyration and movement. The kids liked this center where discs have different amounts of weights and different weight distribution. By racing different discs down the ramps to discover whether heavy or light discs win and also how the weight is distributed determines how fast the disc can go.
The FAVORITE part is the grocery center! Hands down! Grant has played in this center for hours! It is so fun to watch the kids play "grown up." They had fun picking out different things to "buy."
Grant enjoys ringing up the groceries. The items with UPC's even beep when you scan them! Evy and Grant had so much fun role playing and using their imaginations! It was so much fun watching their little imaginations go wild. I absolutely love watching them think and learn.
